School Account

A Nexxus School Account consists of 3 Major parts:

  1. School Staff Login
  2. School Website
  3. Student/Parent Login

Staff Login is the administrative section, this controls all other components.

All school staff members, both teaching and non-teaching staff, will have their accounts created from here. After creating their accounts they are given access corresponding to their function in the school. For example.

Teaching Staff: A science teacher will have his/her account created, then given access to Students and Exams. They will now be able to search for student information and also be able to enter their exams for only the subjects that they have been selected on the system.

Non-Teaching Staff: The Bursar will have his/her account created, then given access to the Account Section in a given area eg. Fee Payment. They will be able to search for a student and make payments for their fees only.

Anything done in the School Staff Login is automatically reflected in other areas.

Eg. On registering a student, a student account is automatically created and can now login to the Student/Parent Login, with their date of birth as their password.

Eg. The bursar on accepting payment of fees for a student and enters this in the system, the fee statement will automatically reflect this debit transaction on the Student/Parent Login for the respective student.

Eg. On creating a School News/Event in the staff login, it is automatically reflected on the school website

Free & Paid Accounts

Free Accounts:

Free School Accounts are free. However some services are charged separately such as BULK SMS, such services involves purchase and use.

Paid Accounts

Paid School Accounts can access a wider array of services in the alotted time period they have selected. After the alotted time expires, if they so wish, may renew the paid services or change to a different service. The system will grant them a seven days grace period with notice. If payment does not occur, the aforementioned school account will default to a free school account. All information entered attached to the paid services will be accessible, but will not have the ability to update or add new data for the paid services until payment is made.

How to create a School Account

Step 1: Create a School Account

Go to pricing, select your preferred plan. It can be free or paid plan.

Then verify email account.

Step 2: Set up your School Account

Enter school details such as classes available and subjects taught

Ensure your school details matches with the system settings.

Step 3: Start using the Nexxus

You are good to go, you can now start registering staff members and student registration
